Genre FW21

This collection centers on the kinetic nature of the human body, exploring themes of gender and society. I aim to envelop the body through one-piece pattern designs, expressing a sense of duality. The voluminous forms create a protective envelope, evoking a feeling of security, something I've always sought to achieve through clothing.

My journey in tailoring led me to a profound appreciation for fashion, particularly in the realm of suits. I'm intrigued by how men's fashion and politics converge, representing a unique form of power inherent in tailoring. This fascination has been a significant wellspring of inspiration for me.

In my work, I prioritize natural fabrics such as silk and wool, and I'm committed to principles of upcycling and zero waste in the pattern-making process. Many of the fabrics I utilize are sourced from repurposed silk stock, aligning with my sustainable design ethos.
