WOMENSWEAR FOR JEAN PAUL KNOTT

For over 4 years, as a designer for Womenswear & Menswear RTW, I led the studio to develop both the design & the technical side of the collections under the creative direction of Jean Paul Knott.

• Head studio, and support the creative director on design with daily tasks and seasonal projects
• Assuring the respect the quality, high, and luxury, lead the brand to respect all the quality processes and finishing
• Proposing first concepts for the season (Inspirations, mood, colors, prints, search & shapes)
• Iconographic/vintage research based on seasonal inspiration
• Working closely with Merchandising to define the collection
• Sourcing fabrics (PV), launching fabric developments and making the final selection of the fabrics
• Working on Adobe to set up technical sheets to ensure product development
• Managing the delivery of the fabrics and the launching of the samples
• Design hand made pattern volumes and created new finishings
• Sketching new items as well as commercialization of the runway looks
• Responsible for the fitting of all commercial items
• Developing a technical teckpack for production
• Allocations of the styles per fabric with Jean Paul and launch production, production quality assurer
• Coordinate photoshoots, models, and styling for collection shoot
• Tailoring menswear knowledge to design tailor for women&men
• Managing the small studio team, assigning projects and duties
